You and your buddy are cast aways on a small island. Without knowing the terrain you must find resources and build a small Village.
The game consist of consecutive Turns where you strive to build a Village of 3 homes before your friends can, all the while finding food and water.
Spears are used in the forest areas to hunt for food, your waterskin can gather water in fresh water areas and tools such as the axe can chop trees which you'll use to build your buildings.
You'll first draw equipment then seek the areas of the Island for resources so that you can grow your Village.
Beware, my friends, the Forgetting Island isn't kind to the lacking mind.
Sitting outside his tent on hard ground, the wind whipping across his face, David can hear the howls of wolves around him. He’s not had a meal in over three days and wonders if the wolves are as hungry as he. A lone man in the wilderness may look worth the risk to those beasts.
He shudders and tries not to think of the present danger. David’s been on this trail for several days now and much to his dismay he’s mostly only found tracks of small, unseen creatures – nothing to eat or kill for trade.
Although, near the end of this day, he’d finally seen some hope. Deer tracks had led him into a small clearing where there was fresh water and the signs of all sorts of animals. He noted the location and moved away, hoping he hadn’t left too much human sign near the river’s clearing.
Tomorrow he’ll wake early and head out again, to that same spot, but this time prepared for the Hunt.
